1. Eligibility
You must satisfy the age and location requirements in the Terms of Use and maintain an account in good standing. Suspended, fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or testing accounts may be excluded from public competition and rewards. Employees, administrators, bots, or test accounts are ineligible for public standings unless a feature expressly and transparently says otherwise.
2. Entering predictions
- Predictions must be submitted through an authorized Midnight Picks client before the displayed lock time.
- A submission is accepted only after backend confirmation. Drafts, failed requests, or locally displayed selections that were not confirmed do not count.
- Each slip must satisfy the mode's current pick count, credit, game eligibility, token, and other validation rules.
- Once locked, entries cannot be changed except where the app expressly provides a valid cancellation or correction flow.
3. Standard and Ranked modes
Standard and Ranked are separate virtual gameplay modes. Standard uses Standard Credits and SP. Ranked uses Ranked Credits and RP. Daily allocations, multipliers, limits, eligible games, and scoring details are displayed in the app and may be updated between seasons.
VIP or bonus Standard Credits do not increase Ranked Credits. Where Founding League contribution is active, only the portion funded by eligible base daily Standard Credits contributes, as described in the app.
4. Grading and settlement
Midnight Picks grades entries using authoritative game status and result data. A game must reach an eligible final state before its pick can be settled. Postponed, suspended, canceled, abandoned, tied, corrected, or otherwise abnormal outcomes are handled according to the applicable sport and feature rules.
- Pushes and voided picks may be excluded from graded-pick counts or refunded according to the displayed rules.
- Softened Blow recovery, when eligible, is calculated from the official graded-pick count and original stake under the table displayed in the app.
- Profit Boost, Insurance, Quick Hitter, and other approved tokens apply only when validly reserved and eligible under their displayed terms.
- Duplicate provider updates or retry requests must not create duplicate settlement, points, rewards, or contribution.
5. Corrections
Sports data can be corrected after initial publication. Midnight Picks may regrade a slip and adjust SP, RP, rank, statistics, league contribution, rewards, or inventory to reflect authoritative corrected data. Reversals are recorded through the backend systems used for audit and integrity.
6. Seasons and leaderboards
Standings use server-authoritative point records. Season timing, rank thresholds, tie ordering, qualification requirements, and reward criteria are displayed in the app. When values are tied, the deterministic ordering used by the applicable leaderboard controls unless season-specific rules state otherwise.
Seasonal badges or rewards are awarded only after backend confirmation and only once per qualifying account.
7. Polls, events, and leagues
Community polls, events, and leagues may include their own opening time, lock time, eligibility, scoring, participation, settlement, and virtual reward terms. Only valid server-confirmed participation counts. Viewing an event without submitting does not create an entry or reward eligibility.
Community Event rewards are sent only to qualifying participants under the event configuration. Replacement, cancellation, postponement, or void treatment follows the displayed event terms and authoritative game state.
8. Competitive integrity
Cheating, collusion, multi-account abuse, automated play, reward duplication, settlement exploitation, score manipulation, unauthorized clients, and attempts to bypass limits are prohibited. Midnight Picks may investigate, void affected activity, correct balances, remove rewards, exclude accounts from standings, or suspend accounts.
9. Virtual rewards only
Unless a separate lawful promotion expressly states otherwise, all credits, points, ranks, tokens, badges, nameplates, digital entitlements, and other rewards are virtual, nontransferable, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for money or real-world prizes.
10. Apple notice
Apple is not a sponsor of, responsible for, or involved in Midnight Picks gameplay or virtual competitions. Apple does not determine winners or provide virtual rewards.
11. Administration and questions
Midnight Picks may interpret and apply these rules in good faith, correct technical errors, and take action necessary to protect fairness and service integrity. Questions about a specific result should be sent to [email protected] with the relevant username and record ID.
